Commercial

A commercial solar panel is a photovoltaic (PV) panel that converts sunlight into electricity. Photovoltaic is the process of converting sunlight to energy.

Solar Atta Chakki

Solar Atta Chakki is an application that uses the electricity produced by the sun as a source of energy.

Solar Street Lights

Solar panels are installed on the pole or on the lighting structure. The panels will charge the rechargeable batteries and these batteries will turn on.

Introduction to Namo Solar Energy

“Whether it is salt farmers in India embracing solar power or wind companies creating tens of thousands of jobs in America, people are providing a vision for the clean energy future.”

Frances Beinecke

Sharing the passion for solar power that started in the 7th century BC, Namo Solar Energy is now India’s third-largest EPC installer with a 90 MW rooftop solar experience.

A bunch of like-minded solar enthusiasts from IIT Bombay started Namo Solar Energy with the vision of making India the flagbearer of clean, sustainable energy.

Namo Solar Energy makes every day a Sunday by helping consumers enjoy free electricity from solar power for 25 years.

Frequently Asked Questions

A solar rooftop system is a combination of many components that convert sunlight into usable electricity. The components of a rooftop solar include the following:
  • Solar panels with PV cells
  • Solar inverter
  • Solar panel mounting structures
  • AC and DC cables
  • AC combiner box
  • DC combiner box
  • Earthing cables
  • MC4 connectors

A solar rooftop system works on the concept of conversion of sunlight into electricity, known as the photovoltaic effect. The process works as follows:
  • Sunlight falls on the PV cells in a solar panel, converting it into electricity.
  • The power generated is DC (direct current) which is converted into AC (alternating current) using an AC combiner box.
  • The AC electricity is supplied to the home and any excess power is sent to the grid, while power from the grid can be drawn if the system doesn't meet your requirements.

The process has become easier with the introduction of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Here's a simple breakdown:
  1. Visit the National Portal for Rooftop Solar website.
  2. Download the Sandes app and register as a customer.
  3. A Discom official will visit your home for technical assessment.
  4. Once approved, choose Techzeal Info for installation, sign an agreement, and make the payment.
  5. We will begin the installation and handle the net meter installation process.
  6. You will receive the subsidy in your bank account after the installation completion.

The cost range for different capacity solar systems without subsidy is as follows:
  • 1 KW rooftop system: ₹70,000 - ₹80,000
  • 2 KW rooftop system: ₹1,40,000 - ₹1,60,000
  • 3 KW rooftop system: ₹1,80,000 - ₹2,05,000
  • 4 KW rooftop system: ₹2,20,000 - ₹2,60,000
  • 5 KW rooftop system: ₹3,00,000 - ₹3,50,000
  • 6 KW rooftop system: ₹3,50,000 - ₹4,00,000
  • 7 KW rooftop system: ₹4,20,000 - ₹4,50,000
  • 8 KW rooftop system: ₹4,50,000 - ₹4,90,000
  • 10 KW rooftop system: ₹5,50,000 - ₹6,00,000
